Montana HOBY Suggested Packing List

What to bring to seminar

Bed linens if you prefer your own. Carroll College provides sheets and a light blanket

-Bring a sleeping bag or extra blanket if needed

-Small fan- the dorms are very warm in the summer time

-Pillow

-Bath Towels- Carroll College provides one. Please bring one if you prefer your own.

-Toiletries – shampoo, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, personal care products

-Hair dryer

-Clothing

-Jacket, sweatshirt or other long sleeve shirts

-Appropriate semi-casual attire, comfortable clothing – shirts, shorts, jeans/long pants, etc. Shorts need to be an appropriate length for the weekend.

-Nice dress attire for Sunday

-Ladies – skirts, dresses or dress pants

-Men – dress pants and shirt

-Sturdy walking shoes

-Umbrella and/or rain coat- there are times when we are walking between locations in Montana weather

-Alarm clock

-Small amount of spending money (optional – for HOBY merchandise and other items available during the weekend)

-Camera

-Water bottle-MUST BRING!!! We will have water coolers but will not be supplying individual water bottles.

-Prescription Medication – *see notes below*

-OTC medication as needed

-Room key deposit checks or $40 Cash.

Prescription Medication:

If applicable, be sure to bring any prescription medication. Please bring only as much medication as will reasonably be needed during the HOBY event (4 days). Medication must be in its original container as labeled by the pharmacy. A Medication Verification Form for Physicians must be on file for all prescription medications. Please refer to the Policy for Use of Medication During a HOBY Event included in the pre-seminar materials for more information.

Check In:

Check in will start at 2pm on June 20th and last until 3pm. Please make every effort to arrive during that time frame. Please do not arrive expecting to check in prior to 2pm. Check in and room assignments will be handled in the parking lot of Gaudalupe Hall just off Benton Ave.
